internet Internet/Data Bundles starlink Tech News

Frampol is now now reselling Starlink Kits

Another Starlink Reseller enters the ring..
Internet Service provider Frampol is now an official Starlink reseller after some months of delays by PORTAZ in the last quarter of 2024. The company has already hit the ground running with a dedicated page on their website and some information they were happy to share with us about their Starlink services, which will be available to both homes and businesses starting immediately.

The breakdown is as follows:
Hardware – Once off cost:
Flat Standard Kit Version 4 (latest): USD 460.00 Inc VAT – Suitable for up to 25 users.

Monthly Data Packages:
40GB – $150.00 Inc VAT per month
1TB – $180.00 Inc VAT per month – suitable for most homes.
2TB – $360.00 Inc VAT per month
6TB – $1080.00 Inc VAT per month

The above offer Priority Data, after the priority data is used, the service reverts to standard data which is slower.

Kits are available for order with a payment – delivery will be done within 14-21 days.

Installation prices are dependent on the installation location – Installation costs will be determined after a site visit – Estimated cost of Installation: USD 150.00 – USD 250.00 Inc VAT

This essentially means Starlink will be providing these kits under business subscription as is shown by the pricing of the kits and the subscription costs. This may be a worthwhile cost for many as ordering a Starlink business Kit off of their official website essentially costs $611 right off the bat, and depending on whether a Frampol kit is already available (as we have been told some are), the upfront cost for the first month may be one and the same for most Zimbos.
As recent as November TelOne claimed their services are only for businesses.
There is also a clear advantage and transparent approach here as TelOne (arguably the most prominent reseller in the country) is more cryptic about their Starlink prices unless you get a direct Quote, which you can only get if you are a registered business or enterprise. This again creates an opening for Frampol, who while selling Starlink’s business packages (as they are the only ones still available for Zim), is making them available for anyone to purchase.

If you are interested in purchasing Starlink through Frampol , you can contact them through email at sales@frampolafrica.com or contact them on WhatsApp on  +26377 222 3501 . More information can again be found on the Frampol Website
