Scared you’re on ZRP’s red robot list? Well there’s a website for that.
You should probably take a look..

The Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) caused quite a stir this week when they unveiled their new Electronic Traffic Management System, whose surveillance cameras have already compiled a list of over 300 traffic offender who ran a red traffic light. Now while a lot of questions about this system have arisen(most notably, where are these cameras), Twitter/X user @yslomry has created a web portal where you can easily check if you’re on said offender list. And while it’s super simple to use, it’s also incredibly helpful and awesome. Especially when the alternative is reading a bunch of images posted by the ZRP’s social media pages.
The website can be accessed here:
https://zrp.netlify.app/
As we said, it’s a simple portal that allows you to enter your license number and easily check if the police are going to be summoning you soon. We’re sure it’s creator will keep it updated as well (seemingly already integrating it into some interesting insurance ad campaigns), and as such, it’s hopefully a locally made tool that will last (unlike many other that die out due to funding, lack of engagement etc).
As for everyone on X loving the site and saying @yslomry should get a tender? Well we agree with them. Local talent gets way too often overlooked, so why not give good local developers a little money for making great tools? Hopefully, things like this can get other devs showing off their projects as well.
Till then, don’t rush through red robots.
(Seriously though,where are those cameras?)
