As we begin the new year, and a whole new decade, gaming presents one of the most interesting paths in tech, progressing in a semi round about way that’s dictated by a never ending push and pull war between gamers and game publishers. Futuristic ideas get thrown out as much as practical ones, preferences are overshadowed until low sales change that company’s decision and so on and so forth. And of course while all this craziness happens in major gaming markets like the US and Europe, we just sit here and wait for the outcome so we can continue to play as Zimbos. Either way the video above is quite an interesting look at what the past decade brought to gaming, and how the industry will continue to grow in this coming decade.
