Not so scary after all, but still scary enough….

Huawei’s HongMeng/Harmony OS started making waves ever since Donald Trump’s Ban on Huawei reached serious levels , crippling Huawei’s smartphone PC, and software businesses and the company had to make sure it was ready to continue operating if Trump cut off it’s access to American companies like Google, Qualcomm and Microsoft. Now with Trump seemingly changing his stance on this matter everyday however, it seems that while Huawei Certainly isn’t ready to move on from Android, they are at least gearing up for it(or doing enough of that that they can scare Trump) and yesterday at Huawei’s developer conferece the compani finally (sort of ) unveiled it’s long anticipated Harmony OS.

Now to be fair, for an OS that was supposed to be Huawei’s answer to Android, this Operating System is nowhere near ready, with most of it’s demo shown above being tech talk and what’s seemingly one of the few functional devices that has it being the honor vision, a concept TV shown below. Now of course Huawei likely wasn’t ready to just dump Android considering the time frame given from the Trump ban. However we can tell from this unveiling they want to get people excited about their new OS especially with all the mentions of its seamless operation and speed. we’ll have to wait to see which phones may first run Hamrony OS but we will be looking forward to see what else Huawei brings up with it’s fledgling OS. It also becomes an interesting time again with new Operating Syatems popping up again, from KaiOS to Puffin OS to now Harmony OS. We will see how this all pans out.
